Bistro 59 is a small French-inspired restaurant located in the heart of the Danish city of Aalborg. The venue once housed an old pub and restaurant that sadly remained vacant for two years until 2013 when it was bought by current Owner and Head Chef, Thomas Egebo. Infusing a contemporary, yet comfortably casual touch, Thomas and his team have beautifully revitalized the place while thoughtfully preserving its historic and rustic charm.
The search for
a better booking system
For Bistro 59’s small crew, taking bookings by phone and having to prep the restaurant for service was getting to be impractical–work smarter, not harder, right? Looking to take the booking ‘middleman’ out of the equation, Thomas searched for an online system that could automate reservations without burning a hole through the bistro’s budget. This journey led them to opt for easyTable.
“It’s the only booking system I’d recommend. easyTable is the best and cheapest system, regardless of your restaurant’s size. If you have a special need, they will always help.”

The impact of easyTable
The reason for going with easyTable was to get an online booking system with transparent, affordable pricing and make admin more efficient. What they did not expect was the service, support, and ease of use that came with easyTable.
The intuitive back end and on-the-fly customization options were a real stand out for Thomas and his team. During breaks, he can simply go on his phone and change the system’s parameters to manage booking flows better and more efficiently. And when you have a small team, that ease of use and increased flow control translates to a better service and better overall business.
